Sannidhanam Makeover Inaugurated
The Sannidhanam Makeover at Sabarimala — sponsored and executed by Sri Ayyappa Seva Samaj over two phases — was officially inaugurated by Kerala's Minister of Devaswam Sri Siva Kumar.

Re-Consecration · Punaprathishta Utsav
A major celebration marked the twelfth anniversary of the temple, with visiting musicians and traditional percussion ensembles from India performing at the ceremony.

Temple Inauguration
The newly constructed temple opened to devotees following completion of installation ceremonies. His Highness Kerala Varma Raja Thampuran of Poonjar Palace was the chief guest at the consecration.

Temple Foundation Stone
The founding committee of thirteen members, led by Mr. M. Velayudhan and Mr. R. V. Narasimhan, secured permission from the Parklands Shree Ram Mandir authorities to construct the temple within their premises. The foundation stone was laid on this day.

Sri Ayyappa Seva Samaj Registered
An informal meeting at Mr. K. V. Krishnan's residence brought together nine founding members — including the Krishnans, Sathishs, and Menons — to provide broader management of the worship services. After drafting a constitution, the Samaj gained official registration on 15 April 1997.

First Makara Vilakku Pooja in Kenya
The inaugural Makara Vilakku Pooja ceremony took place at Sree Lohana Mahjan Mandal premises in Nairobi. The idea was originated by Mr. C. R. Sathish, a veteran residing in Kenya for more than three decades.
