Sri Ayyappa Seva Samaj is a community based Hindu Religious & charitable society formed in 1989 by  a  group of Lord Ayyappa Devotees in Nairobi.  Lord Ayyappa  is the deity of Sabarimala temple, in Kerala, India.  Devotees, mainly of all South Indian Communities worship the Lord as ‘’Annadhana Prabhu’’ which means ‘’the Lord who provides Food to the needy’’.  This Lord is also known as the ‘’Lord of the Masses’’ and worshiped by people across many religions and castes.

Sri Ayyappa Seva Samaj through it’s ‘’Food for 1000 children programme’’ provide one time meal to over 1000 children on a daily basis through the selected 20 + homes.  Food Rations are given to  10 homes every month by rotation on a regular basis to reach food for these children.  This project was launched in the year 2005 and we are happy to inform you that we have been meeting this target and this would not have been possible without the support of our well-wishers  and many corporate sponsors.
